
On March 26, 2025, DTI Quezonโs Shared Service Facilities Program (SSF) conducted the launching of the SSF for Enhancement of Tahian sa Kooperatiba worth Php 2,800,000.00 granted to Pinagdanlayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative in Brgy. Pinagdanlayan, Dolores, Quezon.
The event started with the preliminaries with the invocation led by SSF Support Staff Chelsea Ann A. Canales followed by the Philippine National Anthem. Negosyo Center Business Counselor of Dolores, Quezon Beverly C. Pantoja acknowledged the participants and guests including the officers and members of the Pinagdanlayan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC), the direct beneficiaries of the SSF Project. Ms Liza Aileen B. Merano, General Manager of PMPC welcomed the guests and attendees. CTIDS Anna Marie V. Quincina, gave an overview and enlightened everyone about the SSF Program and mentioned that PMPC has successfully managed and operated their first SSF on Coffee Processing. It was followed by Messages of Support led by Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa, who congratulated the officers and members of the cooperative and narrated how the SSF for Garments started with Mayor Orlan A. Calayag requesting DTIโs assistance and later endorsing the project. DTI IV-A Assistant Regional Director Revelyn A. Cortez, started her message with a phrase from Mayor Calayagโs speech during the OTOP Hub launching, to quote โthe town of Dolores, Quezon will turn your sorrows into joyโ which is indeed true. She emphasized to maximize the use of the SSF and to take care of the equipment as the Cooperative will greatly profit from it. With the new SSF, she gave the acronym of the cooperative another meaning, Pagyamanin Muli natin ang Pinagdanlayan Cooperative (PMPC).
Mayor Orlan Calayag mentioned with pride that Dolores, Quezon is among those municipalities who have more than one SSF and is grateful to DTI for launching another one this year. He congratulated PMPC for being so diligent in whatever project is awarded to them. He also commended DTI for providing access to advance technology and equipment to improve productivity and efficiency of MSMEs and expressed his intention to propose a SSF on Meat Processing for Dolores, Quezon. Lastly, Mayor Calayag assured the officers and members of the cooperative that, in his last term of office, he would work harder to improve the lives of his constituents, and that cooperatives like PMPC have his full support.
After the messages of support, the ceremonial turnover of equipment followed. DC Marina V. Manalo of the SME Development Division of the Regional Office and DC Anna Marie V. Quincina handed over the Certificate of Ownership to PMPC Chairman Apolonio M. De Rosales, who became emotional during his acceptance speech.
Chairman De Rosales thanked DTI for granting them the SSF equipment and Mayor Calayag for his support. He also assured them that the Cooperative would take care of the equipment provided and ensure that it would be fully utilized to guarantee the success of the Project.
After the short program, the unveiling of the SSF marker followed along with the photo opportunity. The participants and guests were then led to the garment facility in the basement for the ribbon-cutting and demonstration of the machines. Ms. Lourdes Macalintal of PMPC, assisted by the Technical team of Hinoki Global, Inc., thoroughly guided them during the demonstration, which started with the embroidery machine, followed by the sublimation machine, and finally the heat press equipment.
