In a continued push to empower local businesses, the Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) successfully conducted a one-day Seminar-Workshop on Digital Marketing on August 14, 2025, at the Function Hall of the Cavite Provincial Government Center, Trece Martires City.
The event, which focused on cost-effective digital marketing strategies, aimed to equip local entrepreneurs and cooperative members with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate todayโs increasingly digital marketplace.
Ms. Liza C. Gabatan, Head of the Entrepreneurial Division, delivered the opening remarks, setting the tone for the day. She was followed by Ms. Annalyn S. Hernandez, CPA, Development Management Officer II, who introduced the dayโs resource speaker.
Leading the workshop was Mr. Jeremiah Balan, a digital marketing specialist from Rippletrend Digital Marketing Firm. His sessions covered a wide range of practical topics tailored for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including Digital Marketing on a Budget, Identifying Your Target Audience, Building an Effective Online Presence, Social Media Marketing Techniques, Maximizing Paid Ads with Limited Resources, Email and Messenger Marketing Strategies and Content Creation Workshop.
Attendees actively participated in interactive discussions and hands-on activities, making the concepts highly applicable to their respective business contexts. The workshop also included a Q&A segment and action planning, allowing participants to outline practical next steps for implementing what they learned.
The event concluded with a brief closing program, during which participants received certificates of completion. The day wrapped up with an evaluation session and a commemorative group photo.
This initiative forms part of the provincial governmentโs broader efforts to support entrepreneurship and cooperative development in Cavite through capacity-building and digital literacy programs.
