
The Provincial Council of Women, under the leadership of its President, Ms. Anne Ferrer, together with council members, and in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer, has successfully conducted a series of comprehensive health program titled “Serbisyong Pangkalusugan para sa mga Kababaihanโ. This initiative took place across various locations in Cavite, including Alfonso, Magallanes, General Trias, Mendez, Tanza, and Cavite City, throughout the month of June.
The program offered free eye check-ups, CHEM12 laboratory tests, and chest x-rays, ensuring that women in these areas had access to essential health services. These services were made possible through the generous support of Health Ridge Medical Services. Additionally, the Office of the Provincial Legal Officer provided free legal consultations to the public.
The initiative aimed to address the health needs of women, providing vital medical screenings and promoting their overall wellness. The program’s impact was significant, with a total of 1,592 beneficiaries receiving the much-needed medical services.
The success of “Serbisyong Pangkalusugan para sa mga Kababaihan” highlights the importance of community health initiatives and the positive outcomes that can be achieved through collaborative efforts. The Provincial Council of Women, along with their partners, remains committed to continuing their support for women’s health and well-being in Cavite.
