Exciting news for motorists! MPCALA Holdings Inc., the concessionaire behind the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), has partnered with two leading construction firms to accelerate the project’s completion. EEI Corporation and CM Pancho Construction, Inc. (CMPCI) will now take on the remaining construction works.
This collaboration brings us closer to completing the entire 45 km expressway, a project that will significantly improve travel between Cavite and Laguna. EEI Corporation is in charge of the stretch from Open Canal to Kawit, while CMPCI will handle the segment from Governor’s Drive to Open Canal.
With other sections, such as Subsection 3 (Silang Aguinaldo to Governor’s Drive), already under active development, the full CALAX alignment is expected to open in the first half of 2026. The expressway currently serves travelers via its operational interchanges at Laguna Technopark, Laguna Blvd., Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, and Silang Aguinaldo.
