The provincial government of Cavite through the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officer (OPDRRMO) participated in the conduct of the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on June 8, 2023 at the Provincial Capitol and Provincial Health Office compound in Trece Martires City.
As the drill commenced, employees of the provincial government promptly executed the prescribed safety measures. Upon hearing the drill’s signal, employees practiced the “Drop, Cover, and Hold” protocol, and proceeded to the designated assembly points of evacuation. This systematic approach to evacuation highlighted the province’s preparedness measures in managing large-scale emergency situations. (PICAD)
