In celebration of National Women’s Month, the PhilHealth Regional Office IV-A conducted a series of wellness and empowerment activities on March 6, 2026 at SM City Lucena.
The event kicked off with a GAD Fun Walk, followed by an energetic Zumba session, bringing together employees in promoting health, camaraderie, and gender equality.
A highlight of the program was the Women’s Month talk titled “From Heritage to Equality: Filipina Leadership in Gender and Development.” The session was delivered by Randy L. Tronila, Municipal Administrator and Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Person of Sariaya, Quezon.
Tronila underscored the important role of Filipina leaders in shaping inclusive communities and advancing gender equality, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of women’s leadership in Philippine society.
The activity forms part of PhilHealth’s continuing commitment to promote Gender and Development initiatives, empowering women and fostering inclusive participation in nation-building.
