The Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), successfully facilitated a Special Recruitment Activity (SRA) in partnership with Magsaysay Maritime Corporation on June 29, at the New Provincial Government Center in Trece Martires City, providing Caviteรฑos with direct access to thousands of local and overseas employment opportunities.
A total of 683 jobseekers from different municipalities and cities across and outside the province flocked to the recruitment activity to explore career opportunities offered by Magsaysay Maritime Corporation. Applicants applied for various positions in the hospitality, shipyard construction, healthcare, agriculture, transportation and logistics, industrial and manufacturing, and aviation sectors.
Thousands of job vacancies were made available during the one-day recruitment event, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to connecting skilled Filipino workers with reputable employers both locally and abroad. Magsaysay has long been recognized as one of the country’s leading human resource and manpower providers, offering employment opportunities in the maritime, cruise, hospitality, healthcare, engineering, construction, tourism, and other global industries through its extensive network of international partners.
Throughout the activity, OPPESM personnel worked closely with the recruitment team of Magsaysay Maritime Corporation to ensure the orderly processing of applicants, from registration and document verification to interviews and initial assessments. The initiative forms part of the Provincial Government of Cavite’s continuing efforts to strengthen employment facilitation services and bridge the gap between jobseekers and industry partners.
